“I have had the pleasure of studying with Lidia for some years now. I took my first classes back with Lidia in 2015 at the ArtLounge in Arlington upon the urging of the owners who knew she and I would "click". I had always considered myself to be a little creative but lacked confidence in my abilities and had never painted with acrylics or alcohol inks before. One of Lidia's strongest gifts as a teacher, and there are countless many, is her ability to allow EVERYONE's inner artist permission to come out and play, explore and be amazed by whatever transpires and NEVER with judgement or correction. One of Lidia's mantras. "There are NO mistakes, only opportunities to make something unexpected and even more beautiful".
